- An electrostatic precipitator (ESP) adalah perangkat tanpa filter yang menghilangkan partikel halus, seperti debu dan asap, dari gas yang mengalir menggunakan gaya muatan elektrostatik terinduksi yang menghambat aliran gas melalui unit secara minimal.
- Berbeda dengan wet scrubber yang menerapkan energi langsung ke medium fluida yang mengalir, ESP hanya menerapkan energi ke partikel yang dikumpulkan dan oleh karena itu sangat efisien dalam konsumsi energinya (dalam bentuk listrik).
